I believe I did. If you feel you have some sort of defense of this action, lets hear it. ORIGINAL: rightwinghippie I have no desire to defend this action. It was vandalism at its worst and if Ms. Waak spoke of this as a republican act of vandalism, then is seems to be incorrect. What I will take issue with is your comment that this is a "typical leftest action". Just as I do not paint the swastika carrying, "no" screaming, nazi shouters as the "typical" republican or rightest, I would expect a little better. Let me rephrase. I would expect a little better from most people. But by all means, if anyone wants to, they can continue to try to demonize anyone to the left of Joe McCarthy and shout with glee at every possible embarrassment to the left caused by a fringe loony. They also can continue to spout truths, personal attacks and faulty logic while playing the poor victim to anyone who dares to try to address another viewpoint. Yes, that is everyone's right in this country because of the beauty of free speech. We are just fortunate here on this board not to have anyone like that around to lower the level of the discussion, aren't we? Actually, those who've been showing up at the health care town forums have been stating that taking us into universal health care is a type of socialism. While they make it a stretch, and a deplorable one at that, to compare Obamacare to medical care in Nazi Germany it IS true that the Nazis were a Socialist regime and that their health care was a universal system. Tis ironic that everyone on the left complains about these citizens showing up and shouting out their defiance...labels these folks as unpatriotic...and yet, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton, as well as others, are both on the record as having stated publicly that it was "patriotic" to stand up and question, to shout at, to criticize those Republicans that were in office when Bush was in charge. Funny how things change, is it not?
