I love this site and all that it stands for. I myself could not afford to pay much of a membership fee, so if in order to keep it free they need the advertising tnen so be it. I so love the free exchange of ideas and opinions here. While every now and then people get of track and attack each other. For the most part everyone behaves like mature adults and realizes that we are expressing our opinion based on our experiances and thoughts. And most here are more then happy to point out that just cause it works for me does not mean it will work for you or anyone else. Because of this I have been able to look at things from a different point of view and at times my point of view has changed because of.

So again just let me say thanks for a great site where I can grow and learn new things and keep up the great work.

I like this site because I can respond to emails and go to chat here without worrying about my children running into the room and seeing something they shouldn't.

As far as the pics being offensive because 'I' don't do those things...WRONG!

I just don't care to look at porno pics unless I have requested them...

Thanks to the site owners/managers for removing the ads...

How about ads for services or items that are bdsm related? Or literature? I'm sure there are a lot of people on this site who would pay a reasonable fee to advertise their goods. And those ads would not be offensive at ALL to me.

No, you could still see what they were referring to with Firefox, because I did. It was part of the page, not a popup, but unless you were full screen, it was cut off (mercifully) and you had to scroll right. Now, I still have to scroll right to see the larger list of advertising links, but a couple show on the left.

LMAO!! Holy cow, I didnt even see the ads! I dont normally stay long enough on the other side to see anything going on over there. I see the ads now, I did have to scroll to the right. lol that is too funny.

I don't blame the site owners at all for wanting to recoup some of their losses. It COST alot of money to run a website. I used to have a high traffic site and I know it cost me a small fortune to keep it ad-free and pop-up free. This board that we are posting on probably cost the owners up to 297.00 dollars, if they bought the full ad free version. Then the upgrade cost $100.00 plus any site maintenance, and that is just for the message forum. I dont even want to take a guess as to what it costs to run the server this site sits on. PLUS the countless hours that were put into the creation and upkeep of this site. I know that the OP wasnt complaining at all about the ads being here, I just wanted to point out some of the cost of running a site this large.

While I support the advertising effort and encourage the owners of this site to profit from such a well-made community, I do feel many of the ads are incongruent with the subject matter of the site.

Fleshlight, Find a Sex Partner Today, 100% FREE PORN, Get Laid Tonight!, Would You Shag? and Rent Porn by Mail! aren't exactly appropriate to the overall theme here. In my marketing studies, I have found it pays to profile your support base to more accurately target them.

I feel this would succeed in overall greater funding success and detract from the possible corruption of authentic site membership.

Yeah.. the overdone sex pix is one reason that we dont go to the other sites. We have children and if they just happen to walk past the puter... they sure get an eye shot dont they? I would prefer it to be the way it was before, or at least have the pix play by the same standard that our pix do.

I was just shocked to see those pictures when I had been trying to get a couple much less offensive pic's of me up on my profile.
I really thought it might be my PC screwing up.
So when I signed in I commented.

I am glad to see that the ads have toned down, I do equate those kind of ads bringing in more unsavory wankers that everyone bitches about.

Agreeing with Crazytwice they are a lot of other ads that CM could make money with.
