Well in the interest of international relations; I have kinda a culture question... do the merchants sell the cut out from the hole separately as altoids or something?

I am pretty sure here in US, we just throw that part away (we are a pretty wasteful people).

Kind of like munchkins from Dunkin Donuts right?
Wonder what they could be called.

I know a dog named Polo.
He's a Jack Russell so I'm sure they paid a lot for him.
I wonder if they got ripped off.
And he does have more surface area for licking and tasting, but not as much as say a ...Great Dane.

I am not sure... are there any mint flavored dogs?

They would be called "Nothing." After all, they are holes, aren't they?

mnottertail -> RE: Polo's are they a rip off? (2/26/2006 10:50:23 AM)

Ja, but then we come to the fundamental and ageless question, if it be "nothingness"; is it marketable?

I had a pet rock.
And I haven't voted Republican or Democrat in about four presidential elections...my entire voting history, actually.

This is America...of course it's marketable.

I had a mood ring, they were a little bit of nothingness.

I bought one this past summer down in the Outer Banks.
I wore it for the whole vaction...until I lost it.
But I liked it...it just felt "vacationy"

Mene Mene Tekil Pahrsin (I don't really know how to spell that......)

But interestingly on the internet, what is commonly referred to as cross-posting could also be seen as full circle, Ja?

Oh, sissy completely agrees with you foxglove716 ... doughnuts with holes neither add any form of extra taste nor do they add to the overall experience of eating a mint. That was very perceptive of you, hon! [:)]

Okay, I am going to show my age here. Back in the 1980s, didn't Lifesavers market little candy spheres as "Holes"? They seemed like a silly idea, so I never bought any (and maybe nobody else did either, which might be why they aren't around today)

mnottertail -> RE: Polo's are they a rip off? (2/27/2006 6:06:07 PM)

I think they did, and it would not quite qualify as nothing which is probably why it failed so badly, I think Guage has really done his homework on this one..........

I'm thinking of naming my next dog "Stay"

Can't you hear me saying "Come....Stay"[:D]

As for the lifesavers, I like to play with my tongue and make the whole just the right size for my nipples and wear them around for a while[:)].
