For those that remember it, this was probably one of the greatest television shows for kids. Definitely in my top favorite TV children's shows, right up there with Long Ago And Far Away and Square One.

And the real kicker is that it's canceled for the most part due to lack of funds. Nobody wants to pony up the money to keep the show going. After 26 years and tons of Emmy Awards, we've reached the rainbow's end.

On a lighter side, I think it's safe to say that Levar Burton, NOT Wayne Brady, is the whitest black man.

So start an initiative to gather the necessary funds. Talk to the authors and actors. How much funds are needed to produce one show? How large is the target audience? How many people inside and outside the target audience are willing to pay up / take a share in a production company? Do.
