The one thing which I'd like to point out is for people to please refrain from stating " You'd be perfect for me"  It may look good written but all it does is raise suspicion. I mean if you want perfection, then why approach a human and simply get a robot?

I agree with much to what the OP posted. I look at a first and subsequent contacts as each being first impressions and try to make a good impression. I want the other person to approach on a person to person level initially, the protocol and stuff can gradually start after we feel there is something worthwhile exploring. I have had 2 s types approach me in the past week and in both cases, what got me interested is they both appealed to the human factor. They expressed interest in getitng to know me forst instead of wanting to know what I would do to them.

Not everyone is going to accept or be interested in what you have to offer them. This goes for sub and dom alike, just because you offer yourself does not obligate someone else to accept that offer.

If someone turns you down, trying to argue with them that they really should give you a chance is usually not an advisable path to take. Why waste your time with someone who isnt really interested anyway?

Do not question someones being "real" or "true" just because they are not interested in you. Just accept that you would have been a bad match and move on. They are no less real and true for not being into what you are into than you are for not being into their kinks.

Fast reply:
Why hint at good communication anyway?
Some still wouldn't recognise it if it fell onto their heads like rubble from the skies.

OMG, I only have 23 hours and 22 minutes left before I lose my naturally optimistic personality and become disgruntled!  I have a lot of emails to write tonight!
