I have always had dogs, rarely cats. But I do say that dogs are more like frat boys, maybe smart in class but they do dumb things when they play.
I had a dog who could do over 20 different tricks, but would still chase the same damn squirrel and smack her head into the same damn tree every day trying to catch it. In the course of her 17 years she wore the bark off that tree in one head shaped spot.

Don't bother with the movie.  The book is better.

hey in the dogs defense, it knew that it couldn't get out unless the door was opened.

i had a cat once bolt down the hallway towards the counter, jump and miss the top of the counter by like 5" and smack straight into the side of the cupboard!

Status: offline 		The other night, my cat amused herself by tearing from the deck, through the living room, down the stairs to the rec room, back up the stairs, out to the deck, and back around again.  On about the 5th lap, she must have lost her footing on the shiny wood laminate floor, because she galloped headfirst right into the banister.  Then shook her head and walked very casually away, as though she meant to do that.....
