POWER IN LOVE

give into this empty space
always fills me up
gone into a time and place
now i'm gone enough....
soon it falls away from me
tumbling from above
stings felt in the distance
so in touch with love
seeing deep within us
seeing that we are
i can feel the flow of it
wounds without a scar
as we dance away this night
twists and turns and dips
hoping all within me
once to touch your lips
magnificent in all you are
pierce my heart, your glare
simply nothing left to do
longingly i stare
somehow this, but part of us
is somehow all we are
and though we go away from here
we never go that far
as far as what has made me tick
gets me off and more,
pushes all my buttons
makes my bottom sore
makes me want what i don’t want
what makes me ask for more
is mostly what i’m made of
as both we do explore
the past, the most, the rest of it
i’m not sure of the score
not that it’s the best of me
for that’s when i adore
that’s when i go further
then i have ever been
even though i'm lost now
somehow heaven sent
i went into a journey
got in along the way
even while i'm going
tis certain i will stay
the path that we once followed
suddenly remains
the place that we are a going
seems so much like the same
as we take this journey
and make our way, its clear
the way that we’ll be coming back
it’s with our hearts we’ll steer
though I have my givings
i wish to give my best....
because the steel that is to test
is the steel of us.
