Hello E/everybody. I have been a member on this site for almost three years through different screen names. I am real, single, never been married, no kids, in good shape, have a good education, have a full head of hair, live on My own, and have had zero luck from this site! =( My last D/s relationship was three years ago. Since then I have dated, and have had casual D/s encounters, but again, nothing from this site. I do not show My face readily because I work with the public, but I am definitely not ugly. I have not posted in the forums in forever, but I thought it would be a good idea to say "Hi!" all over again so people know I am alive, haha. Does A/anybody happen to have any advice on how to successfully market Myself on CM? I see all these subs complaining about fakes, douches, and form letters, but whenever I take the time to write somerhing thoughtful that is genuine and original, I RARELY get a response. And when I do, the correspondence dies after 2-3 messages. What gives? Advice? Feedback? All this lack of anything happening is really getting me down on this site. Thank you. -BD

I don't know what to tell you except that meeting someone on cm by sending them a mail (Hi! I like your profile and would like to meet. Here's something about me....) takes a LOT of tries. There HAVE to be clubs and munches in Orange County.

Well, I have found that the only approach that has some chance of success is the 'shotgun' approach in which yoy try a whole lot of ways at the same time and hope that one of them strikes something. For example, while retaining your online profiles in different groups & sites, physically go in-person to events in Orange County and Los Angeles where kinky BDSM people meet. You may see someone in-person whom you hit-it-off-with (or vice-versa). Here are some potential leads: www.threshold.org (in North Hollywood, usually something every week); googlesearch the Lair de Sade (also in North Hollywood). These two have many types of in-person events from munches at restaurants, to discussion groups, to lectures on different BDSM themes, to actual 'parties' where you can explore dominating someone right then and there. In Orange County there is the Orange County Leather Association (OCLA) which meets monthly in Costa Mesa; it is pansexual. All the groups nowadays are pansexual, so if you attend a 'gay' organization's demo on flogging you will find a number of hetero ladies there to learn, etc. Dont get discouraged. use this time to clarify your own needs & fantasies so that if & wehn the 'right' lady appears you already know how you will incorporate her into a REAL lifestyle with you.

Thank Y/you all for your input. I have taken a lot of time to explore My desires. I am not into the "scene" as much as others are. But I suppose it would be a good idea to wet My feet in the public community.
