Can I use marsala in the place of red wine for a tilapia dish? the marinade is olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, oregano, garlic and parsley. The only thing I dont have for it is red wine, but i do have marsala....

well you CAN do any thing you'd like, I'm sure that you are even physicaly able to pour ginger ale on a tilapia, as for how it will turn out,Dunno, sure it'll work well enough tho

I wouldn't substitute marsala for red wine. Trader Joe's has 2 Buck Chuck in a Cabernet Sauvignon for $1.99.
