Arpig -> Like Autumn Leaves (9/6/2009 6:59:55 PM)

Like Autumn Leaves Guess it took them all by surprise, this May-September run, sad sick man with a girl who could have had anyone. Bring her to me be it alive or dead and there's nothing left to be said. We're starving ourselves on an unplanned crash diet and the neighbours are listening so try to be quiet. Getting by on beer and pain relievers, we are the last of the true believers in the dark. Like autumn leaves, we all die, we played the game and here's where we will lie 'cause you and me's all that mattered and now it's shattered like an antique china doll. You think there's no way but that ain't what I say, that ain't the truth that I heard. So come on out and play at the end of the day, hush now, not another word. Just as sure as we come, you know we got to go out the door to give as good as we get, blow for blow. Our minds made up, there's no need now to wait. We'll do it for love or we'll do it for hate When nobody will have lost, and nobody will have won what will it matter when at last our time here is done? So let's go dance out in the driving rain, let the storm come and wash away all of our pain, in the dark. Like autumn leaves, don't ask why, don't cry girl, you knew one day I would die. And you and me's all that mattered but now it's shattered like an antique china doll. You think there's no way but that ain't what I say, that ain't the truth that I heard. So come on out and play at the end of the day hush now, not another word, just bid farewell to this world. R.P. G 05/03/07
