Poor Obama. He just wanted to make a speech to tax funded public schools and this is what he gets.

It was hard to read the article due to its poor colour combination scheme.

However I believe it read that students were able to listen to both Obama's speech and attend the meeting with Bush after getting permission slips signed by parents. So in both situations the parents made the decision not the school.
