So... which letters of the whole "BDSM" thing appeal to you the most? Or... which are the ones that apply most to you or your dynamic with a partner. I know there are variations of these, but for the sake of simplicity, let's use the following as a template...

BDSM:
BD = Bondage & discipline
DS = Dominance & submission (D/s)
SM = Sadism & masochism (S&M)

Obviously you can have some without having others, or you can combine the whole lot... but I was wondering if there were some that played a bigger part in your relationship or dynamic than others. For example... are you more into D/s but not really into the whole pain thing? Or are you more of a Top/bottom who prefers B&D and S&M to actual D/s? Or are these things all a part of who you are and what you're into?

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I'm not at all into discipline. S/M and bondage are both fun, and D/s is wonderful with the right person. Most people just don't push my buttons in ways that inspire dominance or submission from me, or at least not enough to make it an official dynamic. D/s wasn't essential or even very important to me when I was looking for a partner, but claiming to be someone's Domme/Mistress when I didn't feel that yielding from them, or their submissive when I wasn't an extension of their will, would feel like a lie, even if it involved compliance and obedience in one direction or the other. It's very important in my dynamic with my Master, and not particularly important in my dynamic with my female playpartner. She's a little bit submissive and service-oriented, and I enjoy exploring that aspect with her, but she's unlikely to become *my* submissive.
