I have decided to use ball gags on my sub. We both love how they look, but should we get a 2 inch or 1 and half inch? What is the best( I mean one that will keep her quiet in a hotel room?)

It would depend on the size of her mouth..holding a 2 inch one in a little mouth is gonna be highly uncomfortable, if not imposible, especially without any kind of "training" and some people can only stretch their jaws open so far. Make sure that her tongue isnt gonna get stuck, or make her vomit/gag/choke by being forced in to far. Unless Rainbow play is your game, it can pretty much kill a nice scene.
For me silicone is the best material, and personally I like the penis shaped ones, but there is also a ball shaped one with a breathing hole thru the center, which works very well.
Most of it is personal preference, plus the safety for gagging, choking etc

The best ball-gag that I have seen was one that was constructed out of a 'whiffle ball'. Unlike those brightly colored red/orange spongy ball gags, the whiffle ball one was a hard material but totally filled with numerous holes. This allowed saliva to be drained at from the front, as opposed to being constantly built up and having to be swallowed at the back of the throat (this is a problem because at the very moment when swallowing one cannot breathe, and at the very moment when breathing one cannot swallow).
The 'whiffle ball' with the many holes allows for breathing while still restricting speech.
The smaller the ball gag the better because prolonged forcing open of the jaws can lead the a 'lockjaw' result where the person has a hard time closing their jaws afterwards, somehow the jaws are forced out of their sockets and cant easily go back in. It is a terrifying situation and painful.
of course, psychologically speaking, the gags that are penis shaped are excellent for humbling: many female subs dont like the idea of sucking cock, thus a penis gag forces them to get the feeling of their tongue swirling around a penis shape; and hetero males find the penis gag totally humbling (especially when matched by a penis-shaped anal buttplug).

I had a Trainer and regular Ball Gag with 2" balls (I am so jelious), but my mouth wasn't big enough (Yeah, right!). I took the Balls off (Removed the rivets), and used smaller, softer balls, and they are just right now. Now all I need is a Female to tell me when to wear them. LMCLAO

Dear Lasy;astic, What is Rainbow Play? I am curious..well really being NOSEY, and I never heard that term before, unless it is the changing colors of a person, who can't breath.

I hate the penis gag and not because of some psychobabble about cock sucking. It is a weird shape/size and just doesn't stay in comfortably. It twists sideways in my mouth.And what I truly detest about it is that it doesn't have a buckle, but velcro for a closure. My hair is always getting caught and irratating me.

Plus it came with a nasty unsmooth seam from the mold that made my tongue sore. He had to file it down.

I want a new rubber one except I can't face the breaking in factor of the awful taste.

Silicon is hard and I like being able to bite into it to change the stress on my jaw. I'm thinking of a pvc one, but they look so soft that I may be able to chew it to bits.

Like they say, the fit is individual, find one the sub is comfortable with. They are not hard to make, either. I would advise carrying a small spray bottle of mouthwash in your toybag to clean and freshen the gag before use.

The 2" balls are rather large for most female mouths, especially the hard rubber balls but the soft foam type are much more tolerable as they do allow some jaw movement and fill the mouth nicely. You'll really just have to try a few to get the right fit and comfort. Some people just can't wear a ball gag, but it does take a little patience to get used to it and allow the jaw muscles to stretch a little to accomodate.
If the rubber ball has a really bad chemical-like taste to it, it is probably not a safe, non-toxic rubber.

I saw recently that http://ww.sub-shop.com is having a 25% off sale on everything, and they do have a nice selection of ball gags.

And as for dry mouth, I just drink some water afterwards. It is worth the dry mouth, for some fun and QUIETNESS once in a while. LMCLAO
