Status: offline 		They pop up in the garden over there and are now ready to be picked. They have no other experience other than just recently popping up out of the soil. There is no history or knowledge, no life time experience to teach them. They are a cabbage. A pretty or not so pretty, depending on how you look at cabbage, lump of vegetable that is there for you to decide what to do with. Don’t expect them to know how they taste best or how you can get the most vitamin content from them, after all they are just a cabbage and you are supposed to be the cook. They just want to be lovingly tended to until they are picked and then as all cabbage’s do, leave all the rest for you to do.
 
I think I will have a steak…

Come on guys, you aren’t cabbage patch submissive’s that just popped up in a garden! You are here on an adult site and you have lived a life that should have resulted in some personality, some likes and dislikes, some common sense, some thought, feeling and position in life. We dominant’s are not to create you; you are already created. We are not here to start with a seed, a tiny little seed that is supposed to grow into something and doesn’t which leaves us to show you how to form and grow into an adult with something more than an adult body to work with.

Yes, we may wish to form a certain type of relationship with you but you have to be more than a lump of veggie to work with. We may wish to take a fully adult person and take them places and refine what is there, but there has to be something there to start with.

I stopped thinking cabbage patch babies were cute when all they could do was sit or lay there.

I don’t see dominant’s storming the malls, fighting other dominants for those cute cabbage patch submissive’s. It’s time to get a clue. We want a fully developed human being and all the features that come with one.

What is with these adults who come in asking elementary questions that life should have already taught them about? Or am I expecting too much? Are they handicapped and need our assistance? Is it too much to ask that the man I paddle, cuddle and make love to has a bit more to offer than a lump of veggie?

Status: offline 		it is merely a result of supply and demand. i can't fault them because clearly someone finds it endearing or the breed would die out quickly. instead it seems to be multiplying. perhaps because their bobble head brothers are springing up on a conveyor belt. who knows.

i don't believe for one moment that all the dominants are seeking someone who has their stuff together. if they were that would leave a lot of them out in the cold. the same is true on the submissive end as well. marketing antics aside of course. people mesh because they have things in common. someone reaching above his head would have to be willing to step up to the plate or find one he could easily stand upon instead. i think opt for the easier route.

Which is actually quite unfortunate, because Dominant Vixens Catfight in the Cabbage Patch would have real potential in the straight-to-DVD market.

Personally, I like to think that I at least have enough layers to make a respectable onion. Is that better than a cabbage?

Most I have run across seem lost in this world. They have been unhealthy, socially inept, and emotional trainwrecks. Okay, so some of those could/can apply to me, but it seems rampant and extreme. I can't help finding myself a little, or a lot, put off by this. I didn't sign up to be anyone's nanny (unless I actually did, but I digress). I am not interested in teaching manners, nutrition, sleep habits, patience, emotional fortitude, work ethic, and break 1000 bad habits. If a few areas are weak that's one thing, but this lost pile of goop looking for a structural backbone is not attractive at all. If I wanted another child I would have one. I expect an adult from a grown person.

I had one very upset with me, young man in my email over the first part I posted in my journal. But the rest are laughing because as one said... he had to look twice to see if I actually said what I said. Another wants to know if you find a cabbage patch submissive to be a bit too much if you can send them back to the patch. I said basically there is always the garbage disposal... sadistic and edge play of course.

I guess I wanted to just bring it up and more laugh about it than vent and see what happened. I don't expect perfection, but gosh... I do want something to work with! I found such a wonderful submissive, but... that distance thing. So seeing him in action and such, I am not overly disappointed with the rest, but I do have to wonder some days... wth is goin on!

Oh and Polite... I did mention steak... I have some wonderful meat tenderizer... if I recall... you do bbq don't you?

Loving... I cannot tell you the mind picture I had thinking of tattoing a cabbage! hehe (I'm blaming the cold medicine. It's my story and I'm stickin to it!)

Status: offline 		I feel that I have some characteristics that fit your definition of a "Cabbage Patch Submissive", so perhaps I can shed some light on this.

As a person I am quite reserved and often reluctant to voice my opinions and speak my mind freely.  It takes time to become comfortable with new people and open up.  So I have a rather passive nature which I believe is directly related to my identifying as a submissive.  I understand that I am just one example of a submissive and I don't pretend for a second that all submissives fit this pattern.  In fact, I don't know if any submissives do.  But if more do exist, then their personality, like mine, is likely hidden just below the surface.  For those who have the patience, just peel back the outer leaves and take a closer look.  Who knows what you might find, maybe even a big green caterpillar

By the way, I just loved your cabbage patch analogy.  I can't help thinking of how, if left unpicked, any cabbage will become tough, woody and go to seed.
