Well, you seem consistent there. Spinner, good for you. Really, bravo. [sm=applause.gif] And I agree. Its offensive to see people rushing up to defend the people who could do that. Politics should stand aside, and at this point its about the individuals and hopefully it isn't all of ACORN (or even a significant percentage) that is like this. But the possibility needs to be looked in to, and the authorities on all levels should stay vigilant. quote:
ORIGINAL: SpinnerofTales Ar, you know I lean closer left than right (and am not ashamed to admit it) and, were what you listed all they did, I would be firmly on your side. Now I haven't watched the video (computer issues right now make video watching difficult) but if the claim that they continued to give help when the idea of using underage girls as prostitutes is true, it brings the conversation to a different level. When anyone, anywhere does anything to facilitate or even tolerate child sex trafficking, for me the train stops there. If that is indeed what they were giving counseling and aid to, then that in and of itself is good reason to stop any conversation other than "Don't do it and if you do I will personally do all that I can do to see you in jail for the next hundred years." I don't see many issues in such black and white terms, but child sex trafficking is one where I don't see much gray.
