1) I kinda wish the Boards here would add an section under Creative for Artist Advances where those of us in the Community who do art as part of their real lives can speak out about their recent accomplishments and successes. 2) This morning I reached the 3/4 point on a needlepoint project (production size approximately 8 inches wide x 4 feet long) and now coming out of the "can this really be completed" phase of the mind set; happens on every work I do. The work reflects on the 2 residential floods I have lived through and will be added to a collection of work celebrating my late aunt for her quilting skills which were known internationally since the design is derived from the quilting pattern "Tumbling Blocks". I think that isn't something the mods can do or suggest. You ought to send email to support on the other side. It would fit in with Creative Writings under Creations easily enough. How long have you been working on an embroidery project of this size? I'm impressed.

actually, as a painter and animator, I simply agree, and if enough posts or comments elsewhere show up in various threads, it's likely that "vox populi" will have an ear listening from Deus ex Machina".
