In a perhaps randomly lame moment, I am sitting her listening to some gloriously lame and yet oh so appealing (or apalling?) 80's music as I was reading and an old Eurythimics tune came on. I thought... Annie Lennox... she was so beautiful, and yet, really not what was considered then (or even now, I suppose) clasically beautiful.... then I thought... yeah but with those cheek bones and those eyes... even shaving off her hair and dying the little stubs orange... she was beautiful.... So I thought it might be fun to start one of those running games where one person names a name and then someone answers why the (conventionally or otherwise) are beautiful.... So here goes... a tough one! Grace Jones!

chokes quiet?????? she did have the most gorgeous skin though, you are right. Nicole K whom, is not my type at all, would have to be the bone structure, facial symmetry and that transluscent skin... to die for

I also think that her intensity and the genuiness (my own new word, yes) add a certain aura to her... and so does photo shop but... this is to be a nice thread not a mean one, so bad me! Oooh sorry Sunnyfey, Sinead... those eyes! That bone structure... but really it's the eyes.... there is pathos and just blue-green gorgeousness in them.... you can see all the good things that she is in her eyes. Bette Midler

Oooh I met Joan Jett... she is gorgeous She is hard and soft at the same time.. and has this aura of "go the fuck away" that wants you to come closer.... she also has such a beautiful face... she hardens it up for her image but she is really delicately boned if you look close! Joss Stone... whats with all these singers?
