This is directed at the submissives and slaves of this website since I want to see how many are facing this issue, maybe it's just me. For about 2 or 3 months now, I been trying to find a Mistress or even a person to chat with in this website. I probably talked to about 30 to 40 people already. The problem is that all but 1 person worked in a webcam website. It's those websites you need to give you credit card information in order to see the person in a webcam using the website they worked for. Most of the time, the person in this website (meaning the picture in the profile) and the person I am talking to are NOT the same person. I already talked to a few who told me that they were not using his/her own picture in the profile they used in this website. It's against the rules for me to mention any names at all so I can't post the list here, but it's really easy to spot a fake. I did not give personal information to these websites because I don't trust those sites and neither should anyone here. The one person I did talk to who was (or felt like) a real Mistress was real nice and we had a really brief discussion (maybe like 3 emails?) about bdsm and other stuff so I am glad there are still people like that around, but seriously has anyone ran into these many fakes? I am calling the people who work in these websites fakes because most of them do not even know what bdsm is or anything about owning a person. I don't know what female submissives/slaves face here with but I really want to hear about what other male submissives think about this.

Collarme's worst problem, imo, is the vast (and, it seems to me, growing) number of scammers. Your post shows that they come in all varieties; I'd only had to deal with the ones posing as submissives/slaves. Just goes to show that the old axiom 'caveat emptor' applies even when you're only searching for something, not buying it. Valrith -- Just my 2% of whatever currency you're using. So how are you contacting these Dommes?Are they initiating contact, or you? The ones that contact you are almost guaranteed to be fakes. Since you are learning to recognize the red flags, you should be able to contact those that feel real to you. One huge problem you have is that your profile is blank. What Mistress will want to talk with to someone who refuses to say anything about themself? Also... your username isn't terribly good. It implies that you are interested only in getting off online. So Mistresses who want real contact won't be interested.

It's funny, but lately the so-called "fakes" that I've been dealing with are the male subs who write to me wanting to be "friends only" and, by the second or third letter, then they want me to Domme them & they're telling me how humble they are and how they'll do anything for me.....and I'm a submissive myself. lmao

It's called bait and switch, sweetsub. Male subs get so desperate that they will pose as most anything if they believe they can get a female (submissive or Dominant) to give them even a little bit of what they crave. They often have a switch profile.

OCS, You've been on this site for 2 months, still haven't taken the time to add anything to your profile (including a photo of some sort) and complain about how you aren't having any luck. One major rule for me...blank (or mostly blank) profile = blank personality or nothing to offer. You may be the best thing since sliced bread for the bdsm world but if you don't take the time to advertise yourself and give a person something to go one then don't be surprised when the only people who contact you are looking for your money/credit card info/to join their site. As DarkSteven said...look at your username. The first thing that comes to my mind is "cam boy", someone who is only interested in online play. Give more then 2 minutes of thought to how you present yourself. If you want to attract quality, you need to offer quality. Presentation is everything. Stop complaining and start acting as if you're responsible for the view presented to others. I understand, as does pretty much everyone else here, that there are users and bad apples. Get over it. Block and delete if, as you say, "it's really easy to spot a fake". Focusing on negative will only attract negative. Oh...please take the time to follow and read the link DemonKia posted. One of the best bits of advice ever.

This is just an account I use to check out profile and whatnot. I did have a better name and a full profile, but I got rid of it because I went inactive like a few months ago. Like I said in the first post, a legit Mistress did chat with me even with my lack of a profile. Don't let my name fool you. =] I been in checking out this website for over 4 years.

well, at least the current crap-ass hipster generation, as they cannabalize real culture and art (yeah I mean all you widdle converse-addicted puntzes), have learned to make an almost joke as evidenced here. the almost-joke of the fake drumming up attention by making a fake post lambasting fakes. almost, but not quite. as per everything else, Gen X got there before Gen Y.
