I am going to be an uncle once again in a few weeks. :-)    I would love to go see family in Chicago- but they are so busy and money is tight.

I thought it might be quieter there.

The Farmers Almanac says PA will have an average winter. However the Midwest will have a very cold and snowy winter.

We usually do nice dinners for holidays.  Not really gifts.  But almost always a family dinner.   I am going to float the idea of meeting 1/2 way.  The past few times family came to PA- they got a hotel room.  There is some logic.  If we do a half way thing- I might be able to bring my grandmother.  That would be a treat. I hesitate to bring her 640 miles- but 300 miles could work.   If anything happened- I would never hear the end of it.

So whats up for the holidays?

Phantom of the Opera mask, tiny speaker, MP3 player.  :D

Oh, wait, do you mean for Christmas?   Er... I'll probably be with my parents here in Victoria over the holidays. :)

It's too early to even think of the holidays.  For goodness sake, it's just after Labor Day!!!

Well, I can't really say what I will be doing when the holidays roll around. My youngest will be in Japan; my oldest girl is in NY, the two boys are career military and I never know where they are or when they might come strolling in for a day or two.

I may go to NY, or I may just choose to accept the silence this year.

*shrug*

Can't say at this point.

Most likely staying home and doing nothing.
My kid will probably be off somewhere, who knows where.
Master will have to work...and I'll be home.
