General question. With the incredible variety of folks online here, I ask questions like this out of sheer curiosity and knowledge interest.

Chief cook and bottle washer here. If we ever need to burn the house down for insurance or something, Himself might venture into the kitchen then. ::chuckles::

Cooking, my specialty. My first day with my vanilla boyfriend he cooked dinner, twelve years ago, he hasn't cooked a day since. LOL

My boyfriend, absolutely. He's taken courses and adores it. We've already planned out the house and functions- the kitchen is his domain. And the rest of us is grateful for him.

I love to cook, in particular I love trying complex dishes when I have the time. My owner can certainly cook okay, but I think I've only ate his food twice, while he eats my food probably a few to several times a week.

Hmmm, I am the cook, the second half of the dishwashing team, the housekeeper, the homework helper....

Master and I are pretty much equal in that department. Sometimes it's Him, sometimes it's me, but the last home-cooked meal we had was prepared by Him, while I was banished to the living room. (was supposed to be a cage in the dungeon, but I injured my knee and He felt sorry for me)

Master is the cook. At least i like doing dishes :). i hate putting leftovers away though... not sure why.

What a fun question. i LOVE to cook. One of my favorite places to be is in the kitchen. i am always experimenting and trying new gourmet dishes. It is a pity i live too far from him to share these great dishes! i live alone, and my friends who also live alone often laugh at me for preparing myself such elaborate meals. They ask, "Why bother if it's just for you?" i look at is as a way of honoring myself. Why should i eat something out of a box just because i live alone?

It's hard because Master is a chef's nightmare. Hand him a plate of anything along with a bottle of ketchup (shuddering madly) and he is happy.

Yuck.

I like to cook, but only for my man. I hate to cook for myself alone. Even though I am a vegetarian, I like to make meaty man-ish dishes for him. Although I do love it when he cookes too, for some reason when Im curled on the couch and reading a book and he brings me something yummy to eat, it does make me very subby and I feel loved and pampered.

I am not surprized at it being good..... there is a reason all the worlds best chefs are men!

Personaly I enjoy cooking and will modestly say I'm rather good at it, but wouldn't wish to do so EVERY night.

World Class Chef's aside...

This Domina does all the cooking. I am quite good at it and regardless of recipe and instruction it never tastes the way I want it to unless I do it myself. OK, I don't use recipies and I have control issues, I know it.

I have been able to teach subs how to clean the kitchen properly, and I always check even if it's later in the day or evening.

Well I don't own anyone yet,but it will be mainly them.I can cook when I have to,not too badly either,but it is not something I enjoy - I like the eating part -LOL!

LthrdWolf ...when my son was in his early teens,he gave me a button that said "If God had intended us to cook why did he invent restaurants." We both had a Good laugh & after that he started to not only cook for himself,but he did his own laundry & ironing too!! *proud grin*

Ps/To those who might be Dianic or other,& so it might matter (myself now included) please excuse the patriarchal higher power reference ...but I was merely quoting the button.

Um...probably the most famous chef on the planet!

Author of 17 books, Chef of 12 television shows. Served in WWII prior to becoming a chef.

Recipient of the French Legion of Honor and Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Her kitchen is in the Smithsonian Museum.

Died in 2004 at the age of 91.

Yes, i have a place in my heart for Julia :)
