Is it the cosmos?  Global warming?  Coincidence?  It seems most I have talked with are having a rather off day.  For me I have an ill teenager at home, raging hormones, a cat who likes hurling hairballs in random locations, falling behind at work and to top it all off, I had words last night with someone I care about and now he has decided to go MIA.  *sigh*

I've tapped out.

There's a Global Warming Club at Thing 1's school...

My day started off insane.  Everyone overslept.  It's like stepping off the side of a cliff in the morning.

i'm truly stunned by the stoop. not stupidity because that would be a compliment. the saving grace in an otherwise profoundly odd day are the reasonably sane ones i spoke with.

i'll stop before i really say what i'm thinking.

I got up at 6 AM after a long string of days where I was up at a much later time, but really my day was pretty darn good.  Friday though... Friday was bad.  =/  I was stood up for a date, she never showed.  Luckily over the weekend my friends had some creative "fun" ways of cheering me up.

I had a poor start to the day with a morning meeting.

But as a friend is fond of saying...

"Did you have a bad day....or did you have a bad moment and milk it all day?"

I milked it a little. But he's also fond of noting, "You can also just start your day over."

We have a running joke with another friend, that "the only thing I can control is that coffee-maker!"

I'm enjoying a fresh pot of coffee right now. Care for some?
