Amazing... simply amazing

They are there, and they cant answer simple questions.... utterly... amazing

Barack Obama = anti-christ
2000 citizens armed as well as the army
Communism, fascisim, socialism... interchangeable

First Czar appointed by Ronald Reagan... the Drug Czar... and they didnt know that...

sighs

this is truly sad... the opening man had me fuming with his racial comments... the rest... just has me shaking my head.

I laughed hard that one of the interviewees thought the various 'czars' were literally some sort of fuedal king about to be given land to rule.

It is a sad truth that there is a segment of the population that believes these sorts of lies. The outrageous thing is that people get away with making a living spreading these lies.

mnottertail -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 3:13:36 PM)

well at one time the ceasars, tsars, and czars were just that, the person was steeped in historical perspective, just didn't get around to any recent reading...say anything in this century.

Politesub53 -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 4:16:05 PM)

I wonder if the army of volounteers will also be armed with think tanks ?

[:(]  < tears of laughter from watching the video link.

rikigrl -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 4:50:16 PM)

That was scary, perhaps a smidgen of intelligence should be a requirement before being permitted to vote?

philosophy -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 4:54:50 PM)

FR

Let's be fair.....in any large crowd you'll find some utter idiots who really don't understand the issues involved. That said, some of those interviewed seemed to be almost wilfully ignorant.

mnottertail -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 4:56:17 PM)

well, creationism is favored over science in most of that crowd. I do love the lady that said John Wayne and McCarthy were right, though.

LOL,
Ron

I didnt get that, was she talking about The Searchers, or True Grit ? [;)]

mnottertail -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 5:03:00 PM)

Weekend at Bernies, I should think, Andrew McCarthy, no? Maybe she thought he was one of the kids in that movie, 'The Cowboys' and that's how she glued that all together.

SpinnerofTales -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 5:05:04 PM)

I was about to make the same point, Philo. In any demonstration ranging from the fire department estimate of 60,000 up to the estimate of "a gajillion, bazillion people" by the fine mathematicians at the "Secret Society of Woobling loonies, you will be able to find people equally clueless. Actually, I would laugh as hard at an equal cross section of leftist protesters as I do at this nonsense.

The one thing is DOES explain is how our country got to this point.

I think she was talking about Wayne's involvement with the John Birch Society.

lol... I've heard that before.

Obama Voters Interviewed

Now... shall we agree that there are ignorant people everywhere, of every political persuasion?  Or do we assume that the few interviewed on both videos are representative of the entire membership of their respective party?

Arrogance -> RE: Tea Party Fun! (9/15/2009 7:55:44 PM)

Did anyone in this thread question that ignorance spans across both ends of the political spectrum and even every rung of the socio-economic ladder?

Take this merely for the entertainment it provides.

Yes, but if you're going to be going around protesting something so vehemently and so adamantly, don't you think you look like even more of an idiot when it turns out you haven't made the slightest effort to inform yourself on the issue you're so angry about?

I think that the thing that made me laugh the loudest during that video is when the interviewer explained to some of these morons exactly what a czar is, and they just stared at him in shock for a moment. Then one of them glared and said, "And you know this how?" Well, because he knows how to read a fucking newspaper, you ignorant rednecked cracker! Jesus christ! How hard is it?

Not half as entertaining as Arrogance's link. The Obama voters may be idiots too, but you don't see them waving signs and screaming angry slogans that are total bullshit.

You have a point.  After all, the Obama voters used their inferior intellect to cast their vote for President of the United States.  While amusing on the surface, the consequences at stake are much more serious.
