With serious lack of give a damn, I am not going to search to see, but I've been told that Iowa's state income taxes are some of the highest in the nation. Yet, they complain that people are leaving the state at an alarming rate.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see the attraction of booking a trans-Atlantic flight and hotel just to see lots of grass, white wooden houses and lots of people in checked shirts and denim dungarees with pitchforks. Kansas to me conjures up images of The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, etc. What is there to see in Kansas?
