Taking the risk that faremaiden [the OP] is a pseudonym for a "online fake Master" trying to learn the tricks of the trade so as to lure sweet young things to his traps... I think the biggest clue is self-declaration. Ex: "I am Lord/Master/SirFungus, You will bow and worship my feet." Another is going too fast... 3rd e-mail: "You will move to my city, paying your own way." Another is sex-only - no discussion of a relationship (or potential for one.)

Instant worship, irrational demand, isolation attempts. Use common sense if you have any. If you wouldn't allow it from other, don't allow it from someone who only SEEKS to be your master.

Desperation is a good one. If someone comes off as really trying way too hard to get you into a collar, they're probably full of it.

At the end of the day, the best thing you can do is connect with local people, meet them in a very relaxed public atmosphere, and judge them as a human being. Creepers are creepers regardless of whether they're in the BDSM community or not, and any sensible person can get a feel for someone after spending an hour or two with them.

Go look for the threads talking about the fake slaves and subs. It is pretty much the same. Not everything people have said so far are indicators of a fake, but if you end up with several of them, you may have one or certainly a wannabe if not a scammer.

Yeah, are switches only 'allowed' to seek other switches? I know some doms who'd resent someone telling them who they could or could not be interested in, & that includes switches . .. . . While that might be true for Lance, it ain't some holy writ of BDSM that switches must avoid seeking after the twue doms . . . .

While you conclusion may turn out to be correct, I do not see sufficent evidence to support your claim

Nevertheless, I would try to give the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Your profile says "Female switch It is not saying she wishes to dominate the one she is requesting nor does it say the level of desire she has to switch. I mentioned before, some submissives feel that if they call themselves switches, they will receive less "junk mail" I personnally did niot think the scammers posted in the forums? I have not encountered it, but this does not mean it does not happen.

Now, like I said, you may be right and this may be a fake, But what if you were wrong? How do you suppose this individual is going to feel after reading your reply? First day here and someone is already calling her a fake hmm?
It is one thing to think one is a fake, scammer or whatever they are called; however it is another to publically accuse, based on a single line of text.

You know what??? Yeah!!!! What's up with that? I WAS a female switch seeking a dominant male, but of course I am done with the difficult looking, but it is still how I list. Maybe I should check my bank account for all that scam money I should have by now. I could really use it! LOL
