The horse is happy now because he doesn't know my daughter will arrive shortly for a long lesson. Show this weekend.

And come this weekend when he has to be bathed and banded and stay awake in line up, he will be unhappy.

The dog is happy because I didn't realize until after my second cup of tea that I had fed him twice this morning. He's sleeping now, very contented (and fat).

Cats are happy because they can turn anything into a toy.

My cats are all very happy today, because yesterday Mama brought home a baby squirrel (We do wildlife stuff), and now CAT-TV has a new channel they can watch. *woot, I mean MEOW*

My cats were happiest after some catnip.

goes to start a thread saying goodbye to everyone as I have decided on the spur of the moment to join a witness relocation program.
Wanders ...just relax for a second. Look...the worst he can do is take a shot at you, and at your *snooort* height *snicker* the chances are excellent that the bullet would go right over your head [:)]

Well, well,...the Amazon is back!!!!  Just remember...the bigger they are, the harder they fall......and no one knows THAT better than you!!!!!!  bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha*snort*hahahahahahahahaha*snickersnort*!!

My cats are happily laying around on the king sized bed bought specially for them...OK,  fine......I bought it so I'd have room to sleep too, but they are perfectly content letting me believe that.  They get 6 squares a day, sleep 23 out of 24 hours, bask in sun spots, while I'm out busting my butt working 40 hours a week to put said food in their little bellies......tell me this, just exactly why do we call them DUMB animals??????

Just you wait till we meet one day Holl, I am going to climb up on my step ladder and give your kneecap the hardest bite ever!!!!!!!
i'll get away from you by standing on the curb [:D][:D][:D][:D]

Nah....you'll promptly fall off of the curb, right into Wander's waiting......um....Wander, just look out above you, k?  She'd probably fall right on you and squish you.....or at least mess up your teeth!

..and how can I be that way?

Take more naps and eat more dead birds. Anyone can do it.

Seriously, though, do we really know that cats are happy? Maybe it's just an act, trying to get us to relax and lower our guard. As soon as their scientists figure out a way to operate can openers without our help, they'll murder us in our sleep and take over the world.

Yeah I would need to watch out for tall falling objects

Phoenixpower -> RE: Why are cats so happy? (9/20/2009 11:21:59 AM)

I don't know if my cats are happy...I miss my little one since a few hours and hope that she is just napping somewhere and did not end up somewhere else...she normally doesn't go far (as she sits in the grass sometimes and then screams with panic in her voice already), so she should be here somewhere...but I seriously did not see here the last 5 hours...maybe that explains why my other cats seem to be happier now [>:]

Animals are happy when they are physically comfortable because they live in the moment. That's the key, finding the joy in the moment.

That's because they've trained their owners so well, that technically they don't need to do anything else but looking cute n get cuddled. Unfortunately that doesn't really work in the human world.[8|]

That is soooooooo true!!!  :>

GoddessSpitfire -> RE: Why are cats so happy? (10/14/2009 9:37:06 AM)

my cat is so happy because I treat her like a princess. which is my own fault because I named her princess pia lol and I spoil her. shes a typical cat, all she has to do is go in her box, eat, sleep and clean herself. seems like a simple kind of life. oh yeah and she plays alot with bread ties and milk rings and her fave toy a caterpillar on a string
