My job is not a pain in the ass, in fact the only thing that doesn't hurt on me is my ass ! My ankles fucking hurt ! And this is not from being on my feet, it is from being on my ass, that's right sitting on the floor Indian style. No offense to natives, it's just a saying, you know sitting with your legs crossed. After my knee problems of a decade or two ago I do not kneel under any circumstances. Interested switches please make note of this, I will not do it for physical reasons.
But goddam, can I get a desk job ? I got people skills, I can have the biggest, nastiest gorilla of a customer eating out of your hand in about ten minutes flat, my IQ is off the scale. I am equipped to even deal with the times we actually did fuck up, and I can still soothe the savage beast known as customer. I am really good at it, and at the last place I worked I only got us sued once, and we won to boot. Of course the fucking wimps wouldn't file a countersuit.
I am 49, isn't there some pasture you can put me in so I can still make money and live the lifestyle to which I have been accustomed ? In fact I have been there over four years, can I at least get a whoopie cushion ?
I know I traded in benefits for all my money now, but can I get a week off ? It doesn't even have to be paid, just quit calling and showing up at the house if I disappear for a week, OK ? Sometime before the snow flies.
Oh, and last but not least, if you are not going to let me drink beer there, at least make sure the fucking water cooler is always full. I HATE tap water !
