We are visual creatures. We judge people (especially on this imperfect medium) by their image, and their words on our screens. I see nothing wrong with a man or a woman showing off their best features, and showing off some of their toys. But ultimately, if I'M going to decide to meet with someone, it's going to be based on the quality of their words. (pictures can be stolen or faked... and how the hell do I know they didn't just find the sexiest car in the lot and have their photo taken with it?)

The only real way to gauge the "reality" os someone is to talk with them at length, and make sure their story holds together, and is consistent over time.

Pretty simple, really.

The two don't always correlate is my point.
