Anyone from the boards going to Folsom next weekend and want to get together? I'm getting into San Francisco myself on Tuesday, the 22nd, and will be staying at least until Monday the 28th. At that point, I'm either heading down to Monterey for a few days of hiking before flying home on the 1st, or - maybe - driving over to Yosemite for a few days. Never seen it, and it seems like September would be an ideal time to see it in all its glory - but without the crowds. But I'll be in San Francisco for sure from the 22nd until the 28th. I don't have a lot of definite plans at the moment, but I do plan on attending Wednesday night's Popcorn Munch and Movie Night in Santa Clara. Aside from that, my schedule's pretty flexible. Who's up for a meetup?

Hi, Panda! I organized a meet-up at the Fair itself, in a thread in the upcoming events forum. (Which is just an fyi, I'm glad you posted this thread, too . . . . ) I live about 3-ish hours from the city, & I'll be day-tripping to the Fair itself with some ladies from the Chico munch community . .. . . . The meet-up I set up is: CM Folsom Faire Meet Up Sunday, Sept 27th BrainWash Cafe (corner of Langton St & Folsom, one block West of the 7th Street entrance to the Fair) 12, noon, to 12:30 Hope to meet lots of people . . . .
