RobertCloud -> RE: Undo, Redo, What Should I Do? (9/27/2009 7:27:37 PM)

I would not have contacted a local group about a Halloween Party. After talking to them I have found out that my girl and I are not good matches for their group. It is not that we are prudish, but we have a strong sense of modesty in that we feel for the most part sexual activity should be private and not in open where just anybody can watch.

I am not condemning these people. That is their scene and they are welcome to it. However, my girl and I would be uncomfortable there. The reason I regret contacting them is that now I feel the obligation to inform them that we are not coming and I know they will want to know why. I won't lie to them, yet, I don't want them to feel we think they are wrong. We don't. They are the wrong group for us, but they are alright in what they do for others. Does anyone understand where I am coming from, or are my girl and I part of a rare minority.

Just tell them you have a scheduling conflict. In this case you've scheduled a private party of two for you and your girl but you don't have to give any details. Thank them for the invite and wish them a very happy time.
