Is there a correlation between the dominance spectrum and thievery?

Do you look in bags for purses? Do you swipe trinkets from friends, strangers or shops?

In this poll honest = not a thief.

hlen5 -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:33:14 AM)

I'm curious as to why this question came up for you?

LaTigresse -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:34:46 AM)

Just call me Robinette Hood!

Seriously, while I know I am not a thief..........why would you believe me. AND, who would say they were, even if indeed, that was the case??

sirsholly -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:35:33 AM)

holy cow...Rule, i have to echo Helen as to why this is even a topic.

The answer is a flat out no in my experience in dealing with Doms.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:35:35 AM)

I don't think dominance has anything to do with thievery personally. If you're a low life scum you're a  low life scum, just happening to  also be a dominant wouldn't make you any likely or less likely to be a low life scum.

mnottertail -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:37:37 AM)

I steal hearts and minds and souls and bodies.

OttersSwim -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:38:28 AM)

My Dominant stole my heart...does that count?  [sm=hearts.gif]

Aylee -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 11:49:21 AM)

Nope.  If it is not mine, I stay out of it.

I have forgotten already. The last I remember is reading a new thread in the Gor forums.

The poll is anonymous. The posts to the poll are another matter entirely.

I didn't mean to imply it was wrong to ask the question.  I meant I was wondering about the back story for that question. I'm not sure which side of the kneel you are on, Rule and wonder if you've been ripped off more than once.

(if you're a dominant thief, you weasel, you!![;)])

The poll is purely of theoretical interest.

As it happens I did steal a couple of books and (not for myself) lots of candy when I had died 43 years ago and at the time was extremely crazy. The poll is not for such people, nor for pregnant women.

Rule...us wimmins can say sensible things we we's pregnant. Honest.

Rule -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 12:20:47 PM)

I seem to recall that the incidence of kleptomany is higher among pregnant women than among non-pregnant women, sirsholly.

In any case this poll is also not intended for kleptomanics, I suspect.

I will direct every single phone call I get from my daughter in the next 8ish months, to YOU!

Apparently I am going to be a grandmother again.......

Aylee -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 12:29:39 PM)

Being preggers makes you steal stuff?  Wow.  I had never heard that.  I do know that it is likely to make you want to eat soap flakes.

Rule -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 12:53:12 PM)

FR

Regrettably, I suspect that this poll will not be a success. I estimate that at least five hunderd people have to vote in the poll before any significant results may be expected. These polls usually do not attain more than forty votes.

Wolf2Bear -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 1:33:47 PM)

My philosophy is if it isn't mine...I do not want it.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 1:56:23 PM)

I don't steal stuff.  Really, I am a total failure at criminality.

abrattyprincess -> RE: Thieves (9/22/2009 2:17:05 PM)

i fully admit that i love swiping the cute little coffee spoons or cool sugar packets at restaurants and all the little hotel goodies you can find when staying in one. it's fun, a little naughty, but in the spectrum of things, not a big deal.
