Had a GREAT time! Didnt go camping (stepdad's gf isnt well...) but did LOADS of touristy kind of stuff.
Went to Hanford, WA, where the first nuclear reactor is. Reactor B is now open for tours (by reservation.. absolutely FASCINATING Hanford Site)
Spent a good part of a morning at Toppenish, WA, viewing the MURALS that decorate walls around the town.
Visited the CREHST Museum, which was interesting. It's linked to the Hanford site, as well as offering info about the Columbia River area.
The Maryhill Museum was interesting to me (although my Mom was kinda bored with it).
Got to see the International Space Station pass overhead 4 nights in a row!!
but the BEST part was spending time with Mom and Lee and Betty. EVen if we had done nothing but sit around the house, it would have been a great week :)
(I have missed you freaks and oddballs, though.....)
