What did i see today when i went through Pittsburgh? Businesses closed for the two days. Streets baracaded off... a few people mingling around with the police. Hardly no one downtown. People here are conservative in their thinking... and im not referring to politically. It is a city that is growing and thriving despite the downturn in the economy. Monday there were already putting up boards over windows, discussing security measures and what would happen if a breach occurred. Those who are protesting are those who do not live here. We figure that the economy may actually be in ouor favor since not as many of them can afford to travel and stay this time. We expected some commotions, but, for the most part, its been sorta quiet, Most who live here have a four day weekend, many are out of town, many are doing like Master and i are tonight and ordering delivery and watching movies. Its all good... and monday it will be life as normal. quote:
Now the whole world will look at the entire state of Pennsylvania as a violent place. The world knows who causes many of these riots... its not the locals.
