Not sure where to put this, but here's a question that has bugged me for a while... Why do people send private e-mail and then delete their profiles? Usually the profile disappears within 24 hours. I really don't understand. I can understand creating a profile and then changing your mind; I can understand e-mailing someone and then not communicating if you don't like the response. But I cannot understand e-mailing someone and then deleting your profile before they can even reply. And it seems to happen all the time.

I call those hit and runs. People out playing, kids out playing, people who panic that they have just emailed their boss, spouse, pastor or mother--or idiots.

24 hours? You get 24 hours? How did ya manage that? Smile Yes, I have had this happen more than very occasionally. I can check email that I know, for a fact, has been sent within the previous 30 minutes, and there is no profile or no way to respond. The user name has already gone black or light blue, and the collarme notification is showing that I cannot respond to this message as there is no longer a user profile. Hit and Run and a great way to describe those.

I don't know why people do it but I do think there is a remedy. If you go into your mail controls there is a box for No Profiles. This (I think) will send them to you bulk mail and all you need to do is just delete them. I have yet to do this on my profile because, in all truth, I have only gotten one email like this and I already knew who it was from.

hello Lordandmaster Maybe some pluck up the courage to add a profile then chicken out ? or maybe as we have on a site that I help to run its just people taking the p*** out of the "" Kinky Freaks"" ? I have to admit it puzzles me also . But then taking the first step into this life style can be a very big one ( married and spouse doesn't know etc etc ) . I try to reply to every mail that I get ( I was brought up old English and polite LOL ) But often find the member have gone ................................CRAZY . well that's My 2p's worth lol take care out there and stay SSC XXXX Love N Hugs Mistress Jacquie

Personally? I always am happy when wacky behavior happens earlier rather than later. It means I can walk away just that much sooner.

I get this a lot with the "I'm a Russian girl looking for a partner" emails that are generated from collarme. I used to think that there might be some kind of Russian element looking for submissives, then I started to believe that these were just mass mailings to any guy and that collarme was probably closing their accounts once they do a mass mailing. I got one today. The profile was gone almost as soon as I checked the message. I'm assuming the powers that be on the boards closed the account because what was significant was that the email had an email address that was not collarme, and to me that's always a sign of something suspicious.
