Just a thought, there does seem to be a constant war on between people looking to pay and not pay?

Would people stick to that if there was a separate category, though? I've seen another website which does have pro and non pro categories, and the latter listing's full of pro dominatrixes as well.

I haven't noticed a war between pros and non-pros. I have seen a lot of whining from guys who can't understand if your not interested in someone, move to the next person. I have also read a lot of rants from guys who are frustrated because they can't find a partner and rather than looking at themselves, they try to blame it on the number of pros on CM. Now this is not to say you fit either of those descriptions, but you must be having some kind of issue or you would not have started this thread. So if your really having trouble meeting people here, maybe you should consider going to a munch or local event.

Ummm because there's no need for a separate category[8|]

Pretty much agree with everything written. Pros are going to advertise where they can and many will not limit themselves if the only limit is self policing.

Some or more then some guys seem to get blinded by over eagerness and wishful thinking and for some reason write to women that any five second objective reading would show they are just a pro thinly disguised as not one to lure a man. I also think for some the cause they do not take their own profile and personal requirements all that seriously too often and therefore assume others will not and that hot looking pro will want them for just them. I think the negative reaction to pros is embaressment of being fooled along with frustration in their search.

I just came to this thought from all the men who were clearly not compatible with me but wrote anyway wanting to be my slave.

Well if they ever do make a category for pros, the text color should be green. :) I dobut it will happen, there are probably legal ramifications.

I agree that if there was a separate category it would not be used by a lot. When bdsm ads were only in newspapers, the pros had their own section, but they always posted in the loneyhearts (person to person) sections as "lifestyle" mistresses (back then non-pro dominant women didn't use that term, so it and the word "generous" applied to the reader became sure clue-ins that you were dealing with a someone who wanted money not a relationship). They did it for the standard reason: they get more business that way.

I suppose couples on here also do this for a similar resaon, although I'm not sure. There's a purple couples category but most couples who've apprached me over the years have been stealth: either the dom (or less frequently) the sub writes with their blue/pink profiles and you need to read both the profile and the email pretty carefully before you discover that he or she is actually a "they."
