I am very much poly. We both are, and always have been. Neither of us has ever made a secret of or lied about that. My question is merely curiousity at how common our situation is.
Well, for me, I desire the authority just as I desire all authority. But I am fundamentally monogamous. I can theoretically conceive of situations wherein I might alter our relationship to poly, but it seems unlikely that those situations will actually occur... predominantly because I'm not doing anything to make them occur.

I can conceive of situations wherein I might take in a friend who was submissive and have more of a life-coach sort of D/s relationship fairly easily. But I just dont' particularly want or need anything which Carol is not already providing me so there's no real push to get the complications of a 3rd.

Not many, I think - many subs don't want sisters and the logistics are trying. Very hard to meet the subs needs in multiples situations (though not impossible).

Men outnumber women 10 to 1 in the BDSM D/s community. I find it very hard to believe that he's being hunted down.

that's men that are visible

but i have found that in the hard core m/s setting it's a more even distribution with maybe more women looking for someone they can really look up too

part of this i think is that become a good dominant the process is more time consuming and self reflective for a dominant than a submissive, i'm speaking about male dom/female sub, i have little knowledge of the domme/sub process,

so younger submissives searching for a dom close to their age are at a disadvantage

from personal experience it took me almost 10 years to figure this out and from others i hear the same

seems men don't mature as doms at least till they're in their mid 30's at the earliest

ok lets hear it lol

just my experience and opinions
