Well the provocateur vids on this event are not around yet- the point is - they do this. They did it in Seattle- and most likely they are doing this tactic in Pitt as well.

As to the business community they did or did not want the g20 there? Windows get broke- every g20 meeting.

So yes- it is not fair to the small businesses. Where Pitt might have said thanks but no thanks. (to hosting the event)

This isnt it... destroying what people work so hard for just to prove a selfish point. And, yes, i call it selfish, because anyone who was truly serious about making changes would not cause undue harm to people who had no choice in all this... simply because they can!... idiots!

Some of the crowd did look immature and out of touch. The foundations are playing the one that hung the cap and trade banner. They fund the opposition...

these types of meetings should be held on a ship in the ocean.

As long as there are a few from Pitt- I should say hello when I drive out west.

I have been curious about Clearfield or Butler county- but to be frank- I am stuck here for a while. (1 hour north of Harrisburg)

It sounds like Alex will be getting vids that will be interesting.

People being banned from sitting on their front porch.

provocateur- they do this. Weather that will be proven this time- who knows. Those sound weapons sound absolutely awful.

The "law" uses a tactic to corral protectors into a box. I think they have vid of this. When you consider the prostests per both presidential candidates in 2008 - and in 2004- the tactics have been used.

It is true that Larouche had charges on him.

It is also true that in the 80s he was a nut.

however 2007- I note a very different guy.

We need to cancel most all derivatives you should say. Remember that mutual funds are a type of derivative if you think about it. Groups of stocks wrapped up in a different product to take the risk of owning that one stock away.

But I do agree to take away some of them. Especially the ones that Fannie and Freddie were putting out. When they underlying mortgages were being called in because of default, the bonds had to be recalled and paid off at $1000 a pop! How could Fannie and Freddie pay for those when they were buying more and more (per their charter) of the mortgages being written by others with the scores reaching down in the low 500's. Just check any of the tranches from 2005 and on when the height of the home buying had hit and now the first time buyers were of lower and lower income brackets and 'just getting' into homes with those low scores.

The subsequent bond defaults and their repayments of mass quantities all the while still making loans per their charter in 2008 are what caused the bubble to really burst.
