The man provides exactly one half of a single diploid set of chromosomes but everything else comes from her the mother, even including all those big numbers of copies of the that one-half set that came from a sperm!! So it's a matter of being in awe at what a miraculous and mysterious and amazing powerful thing only the female can do that he the man can't do. Birth babies.

the only time this subject has been discussed with me is in relation to a breeding fetish. where forcible impregnation would occur. that alone is enough to make me need smelling salts. porcelaine

There was a widely spread urban myth in the '80s and '90s about teenaged girls being abductd by the Satanic Child Abuse Conspiracy (qv) and used as brood mares. I do wonder if a few dominant types may not have read these accounts back in the day and thought: "John Norman missed that one!"
