I could easily turn into a zombie, sat here on Collarme. The trouble is, i seem to be on-line, when everyone else is off-line. I'm still not fully conversant with all of the site, for instance, i'm someone who has never used a chatroom. Someone said; "talk to me on "MSN," what does that mean? I want so much to be an active part of this community, so advise me if you can? I've only got you to ask.

They're saying they use an off site instant messageing service for chat. There's msn messenger, yahoo messenger, aol instant messenger and probably many more I dont know about. I use Yahoo IM myself. Scotty

Welcome! [sm=welcome.gif] My preference is to stay on Collarme and use their email (read mail) for several rounds of communications before going off-site to chat. i prefer NOT going to an off-site instant message system for chat right away. Even though i have a dedicated email off-site for communicating with CM folks, i don't give it out to just everybody who asks for it. My experience (and that of some others) is that most of the folks who try to get you to go off-site immediately are trying to get money, or trying to get you to sign up for a pay site. Use your judgement. If it doesn't feel right - don't do it. Remember - Don't send money to anybody!

Hi, choccywoc, Welcome to the boards! For you photo, i'm not sure what to say, though most people (the Ladies here) like to see a person's face, if you're going to put your real photo up like that. Though typing in all caps, on the other hand, could be "toned down", too. [;)]

Thanks, choccy. Though it's not really me in the photo, lol. There's the "My Profile" link up in the upper right corner of the screen here. Click that and scroll down a bit. CollarChat has their own set of picture avatars you can use on this side instead of using your real photo. Though i like the wearing a mask/sunglasses idea you had, too. Or just take a photo of something else (i.e. not necessarily of -you-) and use that, perhaps. Just a few thoughts. [:)]

dreamofthemoon, i thought it best to use a photo of myself so that a prospective Mistress, would see what she is getting. Maybe i should try another image and put my "bottom," in the gallery. You know i'm surprised at the large numbers of usa female submissives visiting my profile (they are all welcome) & so few Mistresses, of course it only takes that special one. A silly question, but what does "lol" mean? On the "Home" page i only see ads from British advertisers, do usa Mistresses see my profile? Sorry to trouble you, just so many areas to look at.

LOL = laughing out loud What i like in a profile pic is something i can talk to. You might try wearing a hat, looking over your shoulder at the photographer behind you, standing under some trees with a shadow across your face, posing far enough in the distance that facial details are somewhat fuzzy, or cutting off the top of your head. i like to see how someone would look in the outside world. Keep the other photo. Just make it secondary. Just my 2 cents [sm=2cents.gif]

Choccy, what fluffy said. [:)] [;)] The ads you see are just that. Ads. We have them, too. They seem to be all over the place on there. What you really want to pay attention to on the "Home" page is the list of screen names in RED. Red screen names are female d-types. And yes, if a Mistress from the USA here is searching for a male sub/slave from the UK like you, they will see your profile. Oh, and call me dream or dreamy, thanks.

Last night i found some photographs from my early days, but perhaps i will use them as secondry items. You know, i thought lol meant; "lots of love."
