How is it that the Rep. we elect to go to Wash DC, that make less than $200,000 a year, are making millons in just a few years?

There are specific rules of ethics in both the House and Senate and oversight committees to address ethic violations.

Most of them are already rich by the time they run for office.

Also, many of them become lobbyists, as they have lots of connections and know how things work.

and why do politicians spend millions for 4 year term with $200k paycheck? would you do that? would you spend $500,000 to get a job that is 70-100k a year?
