Well I did a first try at generating interest on here, but now not even my "who's veiwing you" is lighting up. I know I am young, rome wasn't built in a day and all that. I'm fine with having patience, but I'm surprised how fast the CM went from friendly to near dead. I would like to find some people I could be friends with as well as whatever is in my profile. I've chatted in the chatrooms, and tried sending messages to a few people, but well I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong. Anyway, I would very much like to hear from some of you, maybe even get a few ideas for how to make my profile more appealing.

OP, you could try posting to the message boards....here. Polls sand Other Random Stupidity is a lot of fun. You would make friends and have fun, too.

Thanks fluffypet61, I was thinking of trying that hence the Introduction, but maybe putting myself out there a bit more on the message boards would help a bit more. I'll take it into consideration

Hi Paul. I'm not very experienced in D/s either, but I took a look at your profile, and it looks great to me. The only thing that struck me as a negative was "I am a very caring polite individual who tends to think more then feel. Occasionaly I can come off as a bit cold" - however, you're just being honest and upfront, and you were very polite and approachable in the rest of your profile, so maybe this isn't a big deal. I tend to get a lot of messages in response to my journals, so I'd say to keep writing in yours. Don't be more personal than you feel comfortable being, but if you're open and honest and write what you think/feel on a regular basis, it gives people the chance to get to know who you are. You ladies forget how easy it is to be female in a internet world dominated by horny men. You could put up a pic of your big toe and get 10 times the action than any guy. Quiet- I say put a pic of your nuts in a vice up. That'll get their attention.

i disagree. The profile pic is good. i can visualize talking to that face. If anything the pic should include the cat. There are a lot of women here who love cats.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm not sure I feel terribly comfortable showing a picture of my nuts in a vice....not that that would be terribly comfortable anyway lol. I'll have to try and get my cat to actually sit still to get a decent picture, but I'll tuck that under my hat. I suppose I could take that sometimes coming off as cold bit off..but it really is true and I'm trying to be honest.

On the one hand, I wouldn't want anyone to act coldly towards me, especially not someone I might potentially be interested in, and that might scare me off just a little if the rest of your profile weren't so polite and well-written. On the other hand, I have written a lot worse in my own profile, lol, and I do place huge value in honesty. I wouldn't necessarily suggest changing anything about what you said... however, to me, if I were considering you as a "potential" for a relationship, it might help me to know why you tend to come off as cold. I wouldn't want to think that you were just an unfeeling prick (not saying that you are!!! I'm just saying what the word "cold" implies to me). Then again, maybe I'm being too nit-picky?

I wouldn't say you're being nit-picky (and even if you are, I did kind of ask everyone to nit-pick and help anyway). I wonder if there is another way of putting it. Perhaps that I tend to be a bit more methodical?? or maybe mysterious would be a good word??
