MasterSteve57 -> Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers! (9/30/2009 1:02:43 PM)

It's amazing what you can find at Wal-Mart! Yesterday I bought a nifty new product. They're Velcro tie wraps intended for use tying up bundles of wires but since they are ten inches long, made of nice soft fabric, are reusuable and incredible inexpensive, they make ideal wrist restraints. They're about a half inch wide, very soft (much better than nylon tie wraps which can cut flesh very easily) and the velcro provides a very firm closure. They're ten inches long which will work well with all but the very largest wrists. And the bright colors are nice also. They're made by those nice people down at General Electric (GE). Part number 18158. Tried them last night and they worked great. Used one on each wrist and another to link the two. They come six in a pack in six different colors for a whopping $3.96. Not that's what I call helping us to live a better life!
