It's amazing what you can find at Wal-Mart! Yesterday I bought a nifty new product. They're Velcro tie wraps intended for use tying up bundles of wires but since they are ten inches long, made of nice soft fabric, are reusuable and incredible inexpensive, they make ideal wrist restraints. They're about a half inch wide, very soft (much better than nylon tie wraps which can cut flesh very easily) and the velcro provides a very firm closure. They're ten inches long which will work well with all but the very largest wrists. And the bright colors are nice also. They're made by those nice people down at General Electric (GE).
Part number 18158.

Tried them last night and they worked great. Used one on each wrist and another to link the two.

They come six in a pack in six different colors for a whopping $3.96. Not that's what I call helping us to live a better life!

Nice find! I'll have to keep an eye out for them next time I'm there.

Thanks for sharing the tip MasterSteve! I've found lots of good stuff at Wal-Mart  - bamboo sticks ($.97 for 100), clothespins, funnel... maybe Wal-Mart should start marketing to the BDSM crowd?  [;)]

WalMart and the Dollar Store are just kinky toy stores for those of us who speak "pervertiblese" [:D]

Stop giving me ideas until I move down to my daughter's place.

Thanks for letting us all know. I am headed to Wally World now!

DIY bondage is the best, especially at the big-box stores. I just try not buy chains, zip-ties, broomhandles and lube all in the same purchase...

Oh so true XD

I've been shopping in main stream stores for kinky pervertables for years, last purchase I made was plastic spoons, and I was going to wrap ribbon around them and tie in a bow and affix to the spoon and there you have it, a spanking spoon with a pretty ribbon on it.

No worries sirsholly, I can solve the mystery!

The funnel was used for experimenting with a Golden Shower - it let me focus the stream right where I wanted it to go. It worked great and cost less than $5! Go Walmart! :)

i used to work at walmart and they have lots of fun stuff for us bdsm lovers

WyldHrt -> RE: Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers! (10/21/2009 12:15:56 AM)

Attention, pervertible shoppers:
Harbor Freight carries glow-in-the-dark rope for cheap!

I made a braided, glow-in-the-dark rope flogger for less than $10 [:D]

ETA- props to LadyH for telling me where to find this stuff! [:)]

kittyboy -> RE: Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers! (10/21/2009 1:08:29 AM)

I must admit it is something I do envy Americans for. You have Walmart, Harbour Freight, Tandy leather and McMaster-Carr to make DIY toys so damn easy.

DesFIP -> RE: Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers! (10/26/2009 8:46:12 AM)

WyldHrt, it says it's perfect for tie downs. Obviously they know what we're using it for.

oakwood909 -> RE: Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers! (10/26/2009 9:56:44 PM)

Harbor Freight also has a velcro strap with a snap clip. It it uses to wrap up hoses etc and claims to hold 150 pounds. Only $4 each. I bought two and wrapped one around each of her thighs and clipped them to a spreader bar.
