I know she wrote "The Healthy Submissive", and I believe she is an MD, but does anyone know who she really is, her real name, and if she has written anything else?

This colorful Jewish design Yalda Tova means Good Girl in Hebrew and comes with a bouquet of flowers and Balloons. What a beautiful baby gift or little girl present for a birthday or Jewish holiday or a religious holiday. See this on a bib, onesie or infant bodysuit,, t-shirt, jersey, magnet. cards, sweatshirt, teddy bear, tote bag, or poster or novelty gifts.

I have to figure if she wanted to be outed, she would have done so. Since she hasn't shared her real name, I wouldn't try to find if someone else has outed her.

Can I ask why you need this? If her other writings are on Parkinson's Disease, for instance, what would that give you?

my goodness!  I haven't seen that name in years.  If it is the same woman she used to pop into Safe for New subs back in the early days of AOL chat.

1.  I have googled her name, many times, and all that comes up is The Healthy Submissive article.

2.  Yes, Bear, thank you, I know yalda tovah means good girl.

3.  Des, I found her Healthy Submissive article to be most helpful to me in my early days of learning, and want simply to know if she has written more.  I was surprised to learn she is an MD, I thought she was a psychologist.  I am a mental health professional and would be interested to read more if she has written more.

I think I clarified that I am not as much interested in who she 'really' is, I phrased that badly, as I am interested in knowing if she has written more.  Bear referred me to another article she has written about personality disorders, thank you, Bear.  Googling her nom de plume produced no additional citations.

i've been mulling over your question for a moment and i find it interesting, yet disheartening at the same time. it is clear you gained something of merit from the piece she wrote in the past, which is always positive and more than an author could hope for. on the other hand, your attempts to discover her real identity when she clearly elected to write under a pseudonym for reasons none can specify with any accuracy is what i find bothersome.

in general one uses an alias for a variety of purposes, including the protection of ones name and the prevention of negative consequences that could occur due to what is written. in your original message you've included background information that you've gleaned about her. perhaps i'm the minority in this, but my commonsense states that should be enough indication as to why she may have chosen to remain anonymous. furthermore, i wonder where the lines of respect for a persons privacy and our need to know are drawn.

it is a precarious dance between serving our own needs and realizing the result our actions might cause another. i can only surmise that if the author wished to be available to the masses in the manner you're seeking, she'd have provided provisions for such. rather than enjoy what is available and relish the impact it had, you're becoming blinded by your need to know at an expense i find inappropriate. if the information you seek did become available and you contacted the author, has consideration been given to the reception or if she might take offense in having her privacy invaded in this manner?

situations such as these coupled with the advent of the internet are why many are hesitant to reveal personal details. it is my sincerest hope that you don't find what you're seeking, out of respect for the other party. perhaps she will resurface and rekindle her pen, if that doesn't occur at the very least we have something positive that she left behind. unlike some i'm perfectly okay with that and will not infringe upon a space that was never mine to enter.

I believe I stated in the previous post that I phrased my question badly, and that I am interested in knowing if she has written additional articles.  Obviously, she has the right to write under a nom de plume for reasons of privacy.  Im not interested in "outing" her.

indeed you did, but my response was to the initial post where both things were mentioned. whether it was due to poor phrasing or a change of heart is not mine to contemplate. i expressed my opinions succinctly on the subject.
