Okay. From a Dominant who has problems with charging for services by anyone. I understand that it is accepted in part from certain people. I have met Pro Doms and Dommes however I have also met Pro submissives and Pro slaves.
To me it is plain and simple. When you start charging for your services you are no different than someone charging for sex, and in most states the law sees it the same way. That the Pro stands for Prostitute and not Professional.
I know I will have many take a stand against me for this comment however I feel this way and always will. To me, when you charge for the services you are not weaning out the players and wannabes, you in fact are enabling them because now they know they can pay and get what they want without any real commitment.
That is part of what is enabling all players and wannabes, the ability to avoid commitment. When you do not charge you tend to look harder upon those you are talking to and you tend to wean out the worst. Yes, sometimes you make mistakes and a player gets in, but still in the long run you wind up in a committed relationship or plural, and you know you are truly who you are without needing validation from anyone. When you are a Pro___ your only real validation has nothing to do with online degrees or documentation, or reallife training... Your only true validation when you are Pro___ is the money, and to me that makes you no different than a scammer, or a prostitute.
Now as far as the submissive or slave calling you a money pig, I personally feel that they should have restrained themselves more and instead just walk away from you. However, had I been in their place, except as a Dominant, I probably would have went off a lot worse. I am not apologizing for my stand on this issue. However, I will not speak of it again outside of this one post. I will not reply to hate CMail, I will not reply to anyone that replies to this message. I have said my piece and it is now a dead subject to me. For those I have offended, perhaps if you are offended you need to take a deeper look at what you are doing and the reason you feel offended is the guilt. Just because sexual satisfaction may not be the outcome or goal of your sessions, most states in the US and in most countries what you do is still considered Solicitation, and Prostitution, and therefore I have the law backing my opinion on this. Oh yes, I know BDSM is illegal in many states, actually it is not the BDSM, it is what they consider the abuse. The punishments... etc... Yet, even in most of those states if the significant other defends their dominant the courts will drop it. (Not in all, but in most) and in some states BDSM is now fully legal as long as NO money is exchanged for services rendered.
