Ah the infamous Violet Wand. A simple device that can give mixed reactions, and wide range of sensations. Based on the simple principle of transference, the wand is basically a static charge generator. Similar to a Jacobs Ladder or VandeGraaff Generator. Various attachments allow the direction of the charge to any place desired, and the intensity can be controlled to make it weak to strong. It gets the name from the fact that the most common attachments are filled with inert gas that when passed through with a static charge, glow various colors. How it feels... Well if you have ever walked across a shaggy rug and touched a metal doorknob, that is similar. The wand generates that sensation continuously, but it can be changed depending. It can be used directly or indirectly. Directly means the person using the wand is touching the person affected. This is the most common usage of the wand, and can give a pricky sensation when dragged across the skin, to a sharp sting if you get a spark. Indirectly is where the person affected is basically the other half of a complete circut, so when the user of the wand touches them, it draws the charge through the body. This can produce similar effects, but more diffused and widespread. Also it can go, deeper, as direct feels more on the surface. Now these sensations of course can become more intense with metal on metal contact, or a higher power setting. It is an interesting instrument to have, but it can also be dangerous. So make sure to know how to use it properly before going to the more intense settings, as there are some attachments that can be used to brand the skin, ignite flamable liquids, or deliver a pure plasma spark
