More right wingnuts with more money than intelligence.

Last time I checked, a mural sized color print like that, on vinyl canvas (which is industry standard) will run you about $7 to $10 grand. They are all the rage in theatre these days, allowing designers to create wildly detailed, and heavily saturated color backdrops for whatever productions they are doing. It's almost a throwback to the old MGM days of huge cycloramas to make the sets look like they are huge vistas. They started off as a process for billboards, and hanging drops for trade booths.

So yeah, the teabaggers obviously have a lot of cash to waste... or some very wealthy people with alterior motives (like insurance companies, and racist groups) backing them.

One problem with that... both libertarian and constitutionalists would agree with said bill board.

We cant give EVERYONE a pony.   Someone has to feed and water the pony and clean the pen.  Someone has to brush the pony- and vet bills and exercise our pretty pony.

So life is not only about getting a pony.

Not at the cost of others....

Anyone who ever owned a horse can relate to this.

(Or anyone who's wanted to BE a pony... LOL)

From the responses, I expected to see something elaborate.  It's a fucking no photo billboard.  Two color, plus a logo in black.  They'll run something like that off for free if you agree to rent the space for two  months.

Really? And just when did Obama make any move to restrict your 1st or 2nd amendment rights?

Oh and thinking of the 2nd amendment...seems to me from reading it that only the federal government is prevented from restricting your right to bear arms....state and local governments could presumably ban them outright and still be within their rights.

dcnovice -> RE: anti-Obama bill board made "news" (10/3/2009 2:47:00 PM)

The billboard seems a trifle overwrought.

Arpig, when will you ever learn to stop trying to bring reason and facts into the discussion with these people?  Ya big goof. [:D]

Elipsis -> RE: anti-Obama bill board made "news" (10/3/2009 3:51:36 PM)

What a retarded, and vacuous, billboard.

That's some rather dangerous language, too.

That is a pretty smug statement.

Hopefully you can still make statements like that in the future....   You know being that liberty is something one does not have to fight to keep.

....Rothschild thanks you.  Who knows- in a few years- the Rothschilds will own 99% of everything and everybody.

Never assume that todays gifts are forever.

When you do- it makes you a shill for the crown.

The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution prevents (amongst other things) any state from abridging or denying a person's civil or political rights. While not the express purpose of the Amendment, this would prevent any state (or local government) from denying a citizen their right to bear arms under the Second Amendment.

That will be on the Court's docket this season, Arpig.  I'm sure there will be much pointless discussion of it here.
