Ladies- do you like your men- sweaty and in work clothes, or  freshly showered and dressed up in dress clothes?

Men, do you like your woman- perspired and in "work" attire- or do you prefer the powder and painted?

Does your taste vary?

This can be sexual or non-sexual replies.  Is it true men have noses of a hound dog and like the scent?  Or are men more visual?     I heard woman are more audio- men are very visual.

My brother made the comment that he dresses up and goes out- no dice.  But all covered in paint- office girls go wild.

Freshly showered and smellin' good is always good.....sweaty and in work clothes....sometimes, depending on my mood and what he's been working in, lol

What windchymes said, depends what he's working on. Cars, smelling of oil? No. Shoveling snow, just clean sweat, you bet.

But not too sweaty, I don't want to be soaked just by hugging him.

...where's the option for males getting dressed to look fine?  Sexy clothes on a man with a nice figure is the best...except, of course, for a private viewing of that man un-dressed.

By the way, it's time to put to rest the misconception that women aren't visually stimulated, sexually.  We're visual about everything else, why wouldn't we be visually sensitive to what's sexy?  Ask Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt or any male rock star, whether females are visual.  Whole segments of the entertainment industry - manga, magazines and photo books, movies and television, performers' fandoms - are dedicated offerings to females' lust for beautiful males.  Huge segments of any networking site, livejournal, myspace, etc, are positively fueled by and running on female sexual energy, trading scans of photos, art, and video of sexy guys.  Cherishing every moment or hint of hot boy-on-boy action.  We love to look.

Thanks for that, MadameM. Because of this ridiculous notion that "women aren't visually stimulated", some men have a tendency to think that their malehood alone is enough to turn your average chick on. What a load of bollocks: scrub up, guys. Get some sexy undies: give up the fucking kangaroo pouch (PLEASE, think of what it does to her libido - nothing good, I assure you - when you reveal the dreaded white pouch with the slit on the side to her). Make sure you don't just wear square T-shirts with no shape to them. Make sure you don't wear those DISGUSTING "carpenter" jeans EVAH!!! And remember: shoes are very telling. No Nike trainers when you're out on a date. Evah.

Then again, I'm a snob when it comes to fashion [:(] .

Like, DesFip said, there's a difference between clean and dirty sweat. Basically, to me, the difference is whether it's still "fresh" or has had a chance to dry[;)] Newly-sweated sweat smells manly to me. If it's been there long enough to dry and stink, go shower. I have a thing for guys who have been doing hard, sweaty blue-collar work: construction workers, guys with a farmer's tan, guys working on paving the road, painters, etc. And if they have manly hands, rough with prominent veins and a big Adam's Apple, oh hell, look out[8D]

The problem with paving, for example, is they'll smell of the tar. Or spreading manure, yeah he'll have nice blue collar sweat but you'll smell the horseshit which is not a turn on.

ShaharThorne -> RE: worked or newly cleaned is HOTTER? (10/4/2009 4:23:12 PM)

Business suit, okay.

Farmer outfit, with the sweat on his brow, okay.

But I love the scent of a man freshly showered, light on the aftershave or cologne. Definitely gets my knickers into a flutter...*fans herself*

Depends on the man.

Really.

That is true- and maybe the diet as well.  Like a ton of beer sometimes makes the sweat smell different.  Not worse - just different.

FR, after read thru

*happy sigh*

Nice thread, pahunk . . . . .

I adore fresh, dripping sweat. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . . .

I like the endorphin producing activities that go with it, I like the heat, & I just adore sweat . . . . . .

Okay, my little kink aside. Good hygiene is a must but otherwise, frankly? I'm kinda boy-crazy, I like 'em . . . . . Dressed, undressed, fancy, plain. Mm hmmmm . .. . . Yep. I like the menfolk.
