CollaredChicklet -> Master does weird things in his sleep... (10/4/2009 5:09:36 PM)
so, I was in another room while Master was taking a nap... about twenty minutes into it, i hear a loud crash. i walk into the room, and stepped on him, while he screamed in pain. i didnt see him because he SHOULD have been in the bed. he proceeded to tell me, while he was still in a sleepy stupor, that there was a fly, and he needed to get it.
full of surprises, this household...

Sounds like he was acting out a dream. It happens to people sometimes. It has something to do with some chemical in the brain - that's supposed to paralyze us while we sleep - not doing it's job (if it happens frequently then it should be considered a sleep disorder and medical attention should be sought). I once woke up to find myself in the kitchen making myself a grilled cheese sandwhich. It was very disorienting and disconcerting. Fortunately, I had some comfort food right there in front of me.

it probably was a result of stress... he's been under a lot lately.. :(

Stress certainly can affect the brain in strange ways but, like I said, it’s something to worry about only if it happens frequently. Of course, I’m not a doctor so take that advice for what it’s worth.
