ORIGINAL: KYsissy As an aside, a friend of mine who was in the Army reserves at the time, was in downtown Louisville. Not exactly a hotbed of criminal activity. He got jumped by three guys and one had a .32 automatic. He broke free and ran. He could hear shots behind him as he made for his car. He got to his car and pulled out his .45. At the sight of his .45 those three guys took off running in the other direction. He didn't pull the trigger. He took one round above his elbow which he discovered after the adrenaline wore off. Now what would have happened to him if he didn't have a gun? Shot again? beaten and robbed? Killed for the $40 in his wallet? Thankfully we will never know because he was able to get to his own weapon. so shall we focus to limit access of guns to bad guys, or shall we allow more good guys to have guns? What is the criteria of who is good and who is bad? well, even with 5% False Positive, that would be 300,000,000 x 0.05, ouch that is too many....
