I dunno, instead of a Canadian girlfriend I have a mortgage. I'm sometimes not sure I wouldn't be better off in imaginary la-la land /laughs.

Interesting.  I know of women that used to wear a ring to ward off men hitting on them.  That is a relic of a more genteel era... I have heard that men don't even care any more.

I love it when someone asks a clueless question... "My Mistress, with 15 years of lifestyle experience, has commanded me to find out how she should tie a knot..."

FR, after read thru

Hmmmmmmm . . . . Some generalities come to mind . . ..

  • It takes money to make money . .. . .

  • The best thing for a job seeker to have is current employment ... . .

  • & there's nothing like having a sexual partner to draw more sexual partners . .. ..

Yep, I've long noticed the power of that last variant. &, yeah, cuz there's some truth to the psychology of that, it practically guarantees that some will pretend . . . . .

Above & beyond what was sketched out in the OP & the thread 'tween there & here . . . . .

Why not get one that plugs into the wall? It seems that it would not die.

I must've been a Girl Scout in another life, cause I'm always prepared.  I have one that plugs in and I have a battery-operated one as a back-up.    The only way to fly.

FR, another thought

It just occurred to me that this same phenom might be a factor behind the dreaded over-'friending' thing . .... Ya know, like the guys that have 'friended' every hot-pic bearing profile they can, for instance . . .. . . Perhaps it's meant to provoke 'sympathetic magic' towards findin' the hook-up of their fantasies . . . . .

Wow! Offer me a signature line and give it to someone else!

Maybe the two of you could fight over it....

What are you, some kind of pervert?     Sorry Lockit, I thought that line was so classic that I wasn't thinking.  It's yours if you want it!

Go Red!!!  Do we get to hear about her?

She's Canadian!

Actually, she's from the Midwest.  Athlete, medical field, my age, excited by the new world of kink, probably moving in with me in October.  (And yes, she is Asian.)

I just want to post to say that the "Canadian girlfriend" schtick is still alive and well. And now, having a Domme/girlfriend who does live in Canada, I get no end of shit about it from my friends. :-p

Good Morning aidan,

Funny thing about this.  We're actually in the same boat.  Everybody that I associated with in GA had met clip at one time or another.  Since I moved to CA, just about nobody has.  The only time he's been here was during his leave from Afghanistan and the only kink related outing that we did during that time was a trip to Edges.  Other than that, nobody here has even met him aside from MP, and MP was out of town during clip's visit.

I don't tend to get razzed about it though.  Most of the people that I know here are folks that had read posts of Mine about the dynamic that I have with clip prior to the move.  Of course, I kind of have something of My own authenticity check since MP has no issue telling people that clip exists.  LOL.

Yes, but the ones who have actually met me in person are there to set them straight.

Once in a while the "imaginary partner" is quite real, but someone who hates the internet or finds message boards boring. But admittedly, such a person wouldn't be too likely to send their submissive there searching for valuable information. They'd be laughing at said submissive for wasting so much of their time in an "unreal" place--or disciplining them when they didn't get off the ^)(^* computer.

I don't get disciplined for wasting time here. But if I get excited over a bit of stupidity he will remind me to calm down or lose posting priveleges.

He sees no purpose to the boards. He joined a site, got me, and sees no reason to go on anyore.

If I count right, the biggest problems with this site are:

Subs guys pretending to have imaginary Mistresses
Married guys pretending to be single
Dom guys pretending to be subs
Guys pretending to be girls
Ghanan guys pretending to be little Ghanan hotties or Princeses
Wanker guys pretending to be not wankers

hmm, I'm trying to find a common thread (so to speak), but my Mistress wants me to ask all of the Dommes here to help me discover the secret.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.

yours
