This post deals with the combination of using domination to increase a slave's fitness efforts.

First, a little background: i have been a submissive for about 10 years but never seemed to fit the right dominatrix or the one that would push me to be more than an ocassional session slave. I met a pro mistress about 18 months ago and we really seemed to click. She's not a lifestyle mistress to me or anyone at this point, but we do session about once a month. In January, i promised her that i would serve only her and we began additional training that i would have to do in-between our sessions as her slave. This included bi-weekly nipple torture assignments (a fetish i don't like, but it's one of her favorites), some self-spanking and chastity training. (which i had never done before, but have found to be challenging and exciting).

In early August, at the end of one of our sessions, we started talking about me losing weight (i am about 75 pounds overweight). She is very into fitness and suggested i take up swimming and more walking to lose weight, along with changing my diet. Due to the incredible way i enjoy serving her and love being her slave, i complied and began to do those things. i have lost 9 pounds so far and she has definitely been an inspiration to me.

At the end of our session last week, we discussed picking up the fitness routine even more. She told me that she wants me to work out five days per week. If I don't work out at least five days per week, my balls will be paddled five times. She also said that she wants me to lose six pounds by our next session (about 1 1/2 pounds per week) or I will receive a good caning (another thing i had never done before meeting her).

i am perfectly fine with Mistress using domination to motivate me in this area. i have told her that i think she has the ability to positively influence me in this area and she seems to be embracing it. as our BDSM relationship has grown, we've also developed a friendship, which makes this all more special.

Anyway, i'm looking for any thoughts/ideas/suggestions that anyone may have. Has anyone combined this before? Was it effective? If it was effective, could you please share any ideas that seemed to work well.

Obviously, i need to lose weight for my own health more than anything, but i'd also like to lose it to please her and show her how devoted i am to her.

woooo I thought I was a latebloomer. There is one Domina I know that combines nutrition, fitness training, and kink together in perfect fusion. She will see this and possibly pop around. Nice job on the losing weight. I need to gain some.

Cool beans, that's pretty much my kink too.  I'm a certified PT, and at this point I'm only working with other kinksters as clients, preferably male submissives.  It's MUCH more fun than working with bored housewives and snotty kids in a regular gym.  **evil grin**

BDSM and D/s can be very motivating, and it helps to have an outside person to report to even if they're a vanilla fitness/workout buddy, coach or personal trainer.  It has definitely worked for a number of my clients.  [:)]

I would love that sort of motivation.  For every fitness goal achieved, maybe a favorite activity or orgasm.  If goal is not reached, punishment.  It would sure make me pass up second helpings.

The program does work.  The kink and domination can function as both the carrot and the stick.  It makes sticking to the program fun and (relatively) painless. Well, okay, not exactly painless.  But the pain is mostly the fun kind.  ;)

my gf makes extreme exercise as part of punishment. Instead of 20 reps, its  100. Instead of 1 hr. @ gym, its 3. She also has me doing house/yard work with 20 lb. weights attached to my wrists & ankles. Its all for the good, I suppose. A note: she doesn't care about  the weight - she just wants to tie me up to display my pecs & abs. prominently (rope has a way of making pecs bulge).  Makes her hot.

I've combined kink with fitness/nutrition work, with my former submissive, and a couple of my other previous boyfriends (in egalitarian kinky relationships). I didn't go for the punishment side of things, but *did* reward for goals met. We also did a lot of fitness stuff together - going to the gym, dancing, hiking, martial arts, whatever other kinds of physical exercise we came up with. [;)] The first couple of times, I went to the grocery store with him, and after that, he would go ahead and show me the receipt. We didn't do a specific diet, but tried to make sweets and unhealthy choices as inconvenient and unavailable as possible.

In my current relationships, my Master helps me do a lot of stretching/supported handstands/etc. I like putting my playpartner into various yoga poses and stretches with restraints, or ordering her to, or physically moving her into them.

My wife / Mistress recently put me on a life improvement program. It includes going to the gym, eating well balanced meals, helping out around the house, and not wasting time. It has helped with losing weight and keeping me more focused on her and the family and when i slip up she is more than ready with the paddle or belt.

You're very lucky that your mistress is doing this for you. In addition to the general health and quality-of-life benefits of improved fitness, I think you'll find that as your fitness level improves, you'll be able to enjoy BDSM more. For me, fitness and BDSM are closely connected and highly complementary. Being fit improves my performance in the dungeon, and the dungeon inspires and motivates me to do those extra miles and reps. A real win-win situation.

I would enjoy having a boy go to the gym WITH me.  Then I could make sure he did his work... and I'd have that extra incentive to get back at it myself.

Whoa.  Unless the point is strictly kinky and not fitness at all, she's doing some things very seriously wrong.  If you actually want to build muscle, that's a counterproductive program. Actually it's a counterproductive program even if your primary goal is to burn fat.  I very strongly recommend hiring a professional trainer at least once to get an idea of what works and what doesn't, and why.   You can go with somebody local and vanilla if that works for you guys, and I'm also available for long distance fitness and nutrition coaching.  If budget is an issue, just do some serious reading on the Internet, and you should get a pretty decent education on what techniques are optimal and which are just counterproductive and/or dangerous.

I'll admit it - I've sometimes looked in the mirror and thought "Why isn't there some Dom guy beating my ass into shape?" while I pinch at my stomach flab.

My only caveat is focusing on the scale. The more you work out, the more muscle you will have and muscle weighs more than fat. I would strongly suggest you not use the scale but the BMI and how clothing fits to determine how well you have been following the plan.

Additionally she does know that after a time, your weight will plateau unless the exercise plan is changed?

*snicker*  Been there done that actually.  It's a great workout.

I also enjoy "predicament workouts" involving things like bodyweight ball squats over a greased dildo.  ;)   Granted, it's not optimal for a serious workout, but it sure is fun and you get some cardio in anyhow.  LOL
